Joanna Bannerman
Nutritional Therapist
Brief info
I’m Jo and I’m a qualified nutritional therapist DipCNM, member of BANT and CNHC. I live in the Shropshire hills with my husband and we have four grown-up children. I entered my forties feeling strong and confident but somewhere through the perimenopause I started suffering from anxiety and sudden loss of confidence. I didn’t recognise the women I was becoming and felt guilty that I wasn’t the person I used to be.
Fortunately, I was able to study nutritional therapy for four years. Through studying I learned the power of food as medicine and have since happily been able to support myself, as well as educate my family on the benefits of eating well and adopting healthy lifestyle habits.
I am passionate about sharing this knowledge. When I’m not continuing my professional development, I enjoy walking with my dog and growing our own fruit, vegetables and herbs which I would encourage everyone to do, even on the smallest of scales.
